As an historic home focusing on Roswell Field and Dred Scott, Eugene Field, and toys, The Eugene Field House & St. Louis Toy Museum has a vast collection of items.  
Our collection consists of the:
  • Field Collection (objects owned by Roswell, Eugene, and their descendants)
  • Historic House Collection (objects donated to the museum from the period to fill the house)
  • Toy Collection (contains dolls and toys from the 1790s to present)
  • Book Collection (spanning 2 1/2 centuries and covering a wide variety of topics.)
Parts of our Field and Historic House Collections are always on display throughout the house.  Our toy collection has its own rotating exhibit space and many of the books are on display in bookcases throughout the house.
